No. It only switches on when the room is dark and it senses movement.
How do I charge it?
Lift it off the plate and plug in the USB cable. Full in about 2 hours. Charger not included.
How long does a charge last?

Will the tape damage my wall?
It peels off clean from paint, tile and glass. On old distemper, test one plate first.
